Buzz & Hype Interview

We recently caught up with Buzz & Hype one of our big winners from the 1st FCA's so we thought we'd ask them a few little questions.

So in July FCA fans awarded you with two awards Best Newcomer and Best Single for Buzzin' as we can see from the last 6 months the fans got Best Newcomers right as you've taken over the charts, apart from chart domination what else have you been upto?

Buzz: Well i've been being a general sex God.
Hype: Bret, shut up man. We've been perfecting not only our album, but like everybody elses. You don't find a lot of Pop albums around now that we haven't had a say in. It's crazy how much of an influence on people we seem to have in the 7 months weve been around for.
Buzz: Yeah, back to the more important things - me - i've just been being awesome really.
Hype: *facepalm*

This time you're shortlisted for 3 awards(best group, producer, single) on your own and 2 more as collaborations(rain on my parade, messed up freak) what do you think of your chances of winning this year?

 

Buzz: Well if we dont win at least one award I will actually go into a drunken stupour and possibly kill myself.
Hype: You almost make it sound like you're occasionally sober
Buzz: I'm sober now aren't i? *hides can of strongbow*
Hype: oh dear... Well that is 5 nominations, we can win a maximum of 4, i'm thinking that we will be involved in the Best Collaboration, and definitely Best Producer. We just own that.
Buzz: Word.
Who's your pick for awards?

Hype: I can see Aaron Marks picking up a couple. He is amazing.

Whats your plans for 2012?

Hype: Release the album, tour, do something else, tour.
Buzz: AND GET WASTED!!
Hype: You do that regularly anyway...

Who are you bringing to the awards?

Hype: Nobody... I will be picking up tonight though so it doesn't matter...
Buzz: Dude, all you're gonna pick up is an award!
Hype: I hate you.
